Leonidas Kavakos violin
Enrico Pace piano
Programma da definire
“We met in Norway about ten years ago,” Kavakos says. “For eight of them we’ve been playing together, and we have forged a wonderful rapport, not only on the artistic level but also on the human one.” This explains why the Greek violinist Leonidas Kavakos and the Italian pianist Enrico Pace have conquered the Quartetto’s audiences, first with Beethoven’s complete sonatas for violin and piano and then with a recital that brought out the two performers’ gifts of expressive power and interpretative lucidity.
Leonidas Kavakos, a musician of rare talent, admired the world over for his virtuosity and incomparable musicality, combines expressivity with technique and intellectual brilliance. His synergy with Enrico Pace – a sensitive pianist of the highest quality whom the Quartetto’s audiences have often admired as a soloist – is exemplary.
